Cytoplan’s Vitamin A Retinol provides a high potency dose of 5000 IU per capsule, supporting vision, skin health, and immune system function. This essential fat-soluble nutrient plays a key role in the growth and maintenance of the body’s membranes, including the skin and mucous membranes of the lungs and gut.

Vitamin A also contributes to iron metabolism and red blood cell formation, supporting energy metabolism and overall wellbeing.

This supplement uses retinol palmitate, a pre-formed and bioavailable form of vitamin A that does not require conversion from beta carotene, making it suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Some individuals may have reduced efficiency converting beta carotene from plant sources, leading to lower vitamin A levels.

High potency vitamin A supplementation is typically recommended for short to medium-term use to boost levels, which can then be maintained through a multivitamin containing vitamin A or beta carotene.
