NEWROAD creates a whole-food powder made from 30 different certified organic fruits, vegetables and pulses. Founded by Catherine Hurley Arbibe, the brand combines quality, efficacy and care, bringing thoughtfully crafted nutrition to everyone.
Catherine’s journey began with a fascination for the gut microbiome and its far-reaching effects on health. Inspired by The American Gut Project, she discovered that even a diet rich in fruits and vegetables can lack variety. Determined to change this, she developed a blend of 30 organic fruits, vegetables and pulses that were convenient, nutrient-dense and designed to support the gut daily. With her husband’s support, this mix was carefully freeze-dried and powdered to preserve nutrients and flavour, delivering high-quality plant nutrition for all.
The inspiration also comes from Catherine’s childhood in Portmagee, County Kerry, where summers were spent harvesting fresh vegetables straight from the garden. This connection to authentic, wholesome food continues to shape the brand’s philosophy: harness nature’s benefits without compromise.
NEWROAD is developed in consultation with scientists from the University of Oxford, INRAE Paris, and Queens University Belfast, combining research-backed gut health insights with organic, sustainable ingredients. Every product is rigorously tested, ethically sourced, and crafted with care for both people and the planet.
