Vitafem contains the recommended intake of Folic Acid, in the form Folate. This is the readily absorbable form which is more effective at raising your levels. You do not need to take another Folic Acid supplement alongside Vitafem unless you have been advised by your GP.

We advise waiting 30 minutes after taking our supplements before having a hot drink like tea or coffee. Hot drinks can affect the activity of the bacteria in Femceive and Menceive and tea and coffee can affect the absorption of certain nutrients

Our supplements are fine to take alongside levothyroxine - there is 150 mcg of iodine in the Vitafem but this is deemed perfectly safe to take alongside.  However we recommend taking Vitafem at least 2 hours away from the thyroxine - preferably 4 hours away.

We recommend taking our supplements for at least 3 months before trying to conceive however all the supplements in the kit are safe to take for longer than three months.
